Hope for the Bereaved

As you might be aware, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish began a grief support group for children about three years ago.  In the last 3 months we have added a ministry for those who have recently been widowed.  Our next step has been in forming grief support for others who are bereaved.  We will hold our first information meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 13th   from 6-8 pm in Seton Hall. 

This Hope for the Bereaved support group will serve those who have suffered the loss of loved ones whether family member, close friend, child or classmate.  We want to hear from you as how best to serve your needs!  We will have information and resources available on existing programs in the local community and we will develop groups based on the needs brought forward from this meeting.  Please consider joining us as you are able.  For more information, please contact Jill Skaife, 437-4254; jskaife@seasparish.org

Anxiety and Panic Support Group

In the nursery, across from the Adoration chapel.  

This regular meeting is for those suffering from anxiety and panic.  The purpose is to discuss experiences with others and learn successful strategies for management.

Anxiety disorders affect one in five Americans and is the most successfully treated of any mental health disorder.  Support through discussion and learning with others is an important component of recovery.

A special thanks to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church for opening their doors for this community effort.  All are welcome to attend this non-denominational support group
